My name is Jordan, I am the new youth and young adult minister here. Though I am not from the Pittsburgh area, I have fallen in love with the city and how different it is from where I grew up in Ohio. Ministry, especially youth ministry, has always been a passion of mine. As campus missionaries in 2016, both my wife and I were able to see first hand the hunger that we as a young generation have for the Lord and His promises that He gives us. Since that experience, helping young people grow in their faith and walk with Christ while having a great time doing it is what I love to do most. I can not wait to meet all of you in the upcoming weeks and I hope that we can continue the great community that is already here! The Young Adult Ministry of St. Barbara & Holy Child Parishes is a group (age 21 – 30ish) that gets together once a month to build community and deepen our faith. We usually have a meal, a speaker, and time to hang out. If you are interested, be on the lookout for upcoming events on the website.
